The Mondain range was numbered 136.001-
This Greenbelt model replaced the first series after the Mondain group took over around 1993. The quality was a vast improvement on the previous models.
The case and the screw on back cover are made from Stainless Steel. Water resistant to 10ATM (100m).The crown is highly protected and screws down. The fixed bezel is made of Stainless steel or bronze. The CT logo uses the original method of attachment via 13mm spring bar. The optical mineral glass is a scratch resistant.
The movement is a Swiss ETA showing seconds, Minuets, hours with the date at 3 o'clock or around the outer face. The dials came in black or white with glowing hour indecators and hands. The leather strap came only in brown with the stainless steel CT buckle.
The first Greenbelt Fixed bezel watches came out around 1988/9 The quality was not as good as the new post 1993 Greenbelts. Quite interesting that they put the crown bottom right to stop it getting damaged. Note also the straps were thick one piece leather, not padded like later models.
